Cloud + Local Hybrid Storage

Overview

Cloud + Local Hybrid Storage adds approved customer-site storage, usually one customer-provided NAS, to the cloud storage included in every BackupGuard tier. The customer-site storage is part of the same hybrid backup configuration, not a separate independent backup system.

• Configuring supported backup destinations across both local and cloud storage.
• Scheduled backups to a supported local repository for faster restore performance.
• Maintaining cloud backup copies for offsite protection.
• Coordinating restore from the most appropriate source based on the situation.
• Monitoring backup activity, storage usage, and backup health across destinations where supported.

Limitations & Scope Notes

• Local storage hardware is not included or rented; the client provides compatible, customer-purchased equipment that meets requirements. Paso Robles Tech can recommend suitable options.
• Hybrid configurations depend on supported on-site infrastructure, compatible equipment, available capacity, network performance, and proper configuration.
