Builds on Basic Web Filtering
Secure DNS Service (Enhanced Browsing Protection)
DNS-layer filtering that blocks malicious/high-risk destinations before devices resolve them.
Overview
Secure DNS Service helps reduce exposure to malicious websites, phishing domains, command-and-control traffic, and inappropriate or high-risk web content by filtering DNS requests before devices resolve known unsafe destinations. It can be applied at the network level, device level, or both, and is especially useful for managed business networks, residential networks, roaming laptops, guest Wi-Fi, and devices that may not be fully covered by endpoint-based web protection.
Why it matters
Adds another layer of defense at the DNS level, complementing endpoint protection, firewalls, and web threat protection.
How this builds on Basic Web Filtering
Secure DNS builds upon the Basic Web Filtering included with CyberSecure packages. It provides a broader DNS-layer security and policy-management service designed to protect supported users, devices, networks, and locations with more centralized control and visibility.
Key capabilities
- Domain-level filtering and phishing protection.
- DNS encryption (DoH / DoT).
- Content and category filtering, analytics, cross-device protection, and ad/tracker blocking.
