Windows Server Bare-Metal Recovery Readiness (Quarterly)

Overview

Each quarter, a Paso Robles Tech technician restores a full image of an eligible covered Windows Server into an isolated test environment. The technician checks startup, confirms that services and applications agreed in the Covered Systems Schedule start and are available, and restores and opens sample backed-up files. Results, issues, and recommended follow-up actions are documented in a written Recovery Readiness Report.

• An eligible server is a supported Windows Server listed in the Covered Systems Schedule, enrolled in a DEFENSE or GUARDIAN server plan, and protected by BackupGuard image backup.
• This readiness test does not include full functional testing of every application, database, or workflow; it is not a production recovery or a guarantee of recovery time or outcome.
• Recovery-media preparation or testing, restoration to replacement hardware, and measured recovery-time targets require express inclusion in the Service Order or separate written approval.
• Additional or different testing may be arranged through the Recovery Test Restore Exercise add-on.
